I have more than 20 years experience writing profiles, promoting businesses, covering events and calling volunteers to action. I have written for newspapers, magazines and produced promotional materials for non-profits. I have a proven track record of recruiting thousands of volunteers for events and garnering hundreds of thousands of dollars in free advertising.
I can give your business the individualized attention that it needs. I have a degree in journalism and communications from the University of Florida with a minor in wildlife ecology. I have written about the environment, businesses, people, politics, events and more. As a mother of two children, I also have insight to family dynamics.
Through my efforts, I have elevated Keep Hillsborough County Beautiful to the No. 1 Affiliate through the Keep America Beautiful System for 2007-2008 and then again for the 2008-2009 year. The organization I worked for also earned the Community Appreciation Award from the USF Area Community Civic Association, Inc. and Sen. Victor Crist for cleanup efforts in the University Area. In addition, as a photographer, I won second place for best original black and white photography from the Free Community Papers of Florida, received first place for best original black and white photography and won third place for best original color photography from the Free Community Papers of Florida. I am very personable, dependable, easy to work with and awesome to do business with.
